Earlier this year, Japanese artist Yunosuke Senoo, aka Lycoriscoris, released his new album ‘Chiyu’ (治癒). The album gained support from tastemaker stations including BBC Radio 1 and Sirius XM and producers including Eelke Kleijn, Nick Warren, Joris Voorn and Hernán Cattáneo. Now, Anjunadeep presents two fresh remixes from label stalwart Jon Gurd and German producer Ulrich Schnauss.
A highly-respected electronic composer, Ulrich Schnauss marks his Anjunadeep debut with his remix of ‘Shirabe’ (調べ). Incorporating distorted percussion with ambient synths, Schnauss demonstrates his renowned production techniques that have seen him release on Domino and Kompakt, and remix artists including Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys and Todd Terje.
Jon Gurd stamps his mark on ‘Inori’ (祈り), blending his signature bold basslines with the intertwining melodies of the original. Gurd’s latestest reaffirms why he’s been supported by the likes of Solomun, Stephen Bodzin, Alan Fitzpatrick, Adriatique, Gorgon City, and Shadow Child.
